Indiana: December casino revenue up slightly year-over-year – CDC Gaming Reports

Indiana casinos reported $198.3 million in adjusted gross revenue in December, up slightly from the $192.8 million generated in December 2023 and the $187.9 million generated in November.
Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana led with $34.6 million in revenue, followed by $28.7 million from Horseshoe Indianapolis and $20.6 million from Caesars Southern Indiana.
Slots generated $173.7 million and table games $36.4 million. Total taxes collected by the state from its 13 licensed casinos was $58 million.
The Indiana Gaming Commission also reported revenues of $31.5 million in December from sports wagering at 13 locations throughout the state on a handle of $563.6 million handle, resulting in $2.9 million paid in sports wagering tax, compared to $50.6 million in revenue, $$503.1 million in handle and $4.8 million in taxes in December 2023. The numbers bring the state to an annual handle of $5.2 billion, a 20 percent increase compared to 2023.
The most popular betting sport in December in Indiana was football, generating $173.4 million in bets, followed by $146.7 million wagered on basketball.
