Spearheaded by developer Delner Tom Balag, ZenAI was distributed to students as part of a study titled The Benefits of Artificial Intelligence to Students of Looc National High School. At the time, ZenAI served as a simple but effective tool aimed at enhancing student productivity and learning outcomes.
Breaking Out of Its Shell
Before becoming widely available, ZenAI was a closed application, developed exclusively for internal operations by BlueLight Creatives as an AI support tool. However, with the rise of Generative Pre-trained models making waves in the tech world, ZenAI’s developer saw an opportunity to compete in the burgeoning AI landscape. Taking a bold leap, ZenAI was pushed out of its comfort zone and introduced to a broader audience.
Changing Hands and a New Beginning
Later in 2023, the rights to ZenAI were handed over to IntelliTex. Unfortunately, IntelliTex struggled with financial difficulties and eventually ceased operations due to mounting debts. The same year marked a pivotal moment for its developer, who founded Xilo Electronics, a venture into the computer industry that would later bring ZenAI back to life.
The Rebirth of ZenAI Under Xilo
In early 2024, Xilo Electronics officially acquired the rights to ZenAI. Rather than starting from scratch, Xilo leveraged ZenAI’s established foundation and reputation. With significant upgrades, including advanced capabilities powered by the Sonora engine and premium features like the Orion6 engine, ZenAI has grown into a robust AI tool capable of transforming productivity, creativity, and learning.
